RESOURCES FOR ADVENT
Advent (December 1-24) is a time of prayer, fasting, and reflection, as Christians think about the first "advent" (coming) of Christ and anticipate the second coming, when we believe he will put all to rights, even the sin in our hearts. Our family usually gives up something (sweets, for example) and we make it a goal to spend time in reflection and prayer.
